33OC seeks proposals from international artists interested in working within Toffia's environment for a one-month period. The program offers artists the opportunity to confront new ideas or experiment with their work in the particular territory of Sabina region. Resident artists will have the opportunity to present their work in an informal gathering at the beginning of the residency. Each residency period concludes with an Open Studios day.
The residency is hosted within a renovated 13th Century church/theatre building, which also hosts various cultural activities for the community (theater, concerts and various classes.) Located in Toffia – a small and quiet medieval hilltop village in the middle of Sabina, an olive oil producing area about 60km NE of Rome, Italy.

Duration: 1 month: APRIL, MAY, JUNE 2016
Eligibility: The residency is open to individual professional artists at any stage of their career, working in: visual arts, photography, environmental arts, film & video, media arts, performing arts, music and literature.
Cost to Artist: 250 Euros per artist/month
