Artist in Residence programs
Pantocrátor Gallery is located in the heart of Shanghai's beloved and internationally regarded M50 Art District on Moganshan Road, more formally known M50 Soho Sozhou Creek. The artist in residence will be able network and share their experiences with M50's range of artists, curators, gallerists, and creative entrepreneurs China's international contemporary art scene.
Participants include artists from around the world interested in creating and exhibiting in Shanghai.

Pantocrátor Gallery is a dual-function art gallery and studio space.
Shanghai is a city of contrasts, where tradition and modernity occupy the same space, a living metaphor for the entire country.
A city in continuous growth and flux, the constant emergence of new art and creative spaces and programs is fast cementing Shanghai's position as an international centre for art and culture.
Artist in Residence programs

Some of the artists and their works during the residency in 2013.
PanStage Residence Program 2013-14 is the Pantocrátor Gallery's artist in residence program of Pantocrátor Gallery. Taking place throughout the year, artists inhabit the space for a period of two months, working in the gallery and culminating in a one or two week exhibition. This provides the artist with a valuable opportunity to grow their practice and presence in one of Asia's premier art locations.

Summer Pan Stage 2014. Between July and August Pantocrátor gallery hosts an average of five artists working for periods of one or two months. The goal of Summer Pan Stage is to generate an atmosphere of intense creativity that is conducive to artist collaboration and exploration. Hosting artists from different backgrounds, creative practices and cultures facilitates creative synergies and learnings for the participant artists, as well as creating an international network for their future practice. The Summer Pan Stage culminates in a final exhibition and opening reception in which artists, friends, and curious visitors and curious interact in the space and with the project's art works. The weather permits the use of the outdoor areas, and the past inclusion of live music, DJs and multimedia artworks has made it a memorable event on the Summer calendar year after year.

Venue Hire

Pantocrátor Gallery also facilitates the short term rental of the gallery space for artist exhibitions, project exhibitions, and as a show room.
M50 is a prime location to present and exhibit projects in Asia.
Pantocrátor Gallery also offers the Cube a smaller space suitable for smaller exhibitions, such as work-in-progress or small series exhibitions or individual showcases. This has traditionally suited international artists eager to make a first step in China on a smaller budget. It nonetheless offers all of the location benefits of exhibiting in M50 Art District.
