Arte Laguna Prize widens the opportunities for artists and launches 2 new art residencies, one in China and one dedicated to marble!

2 NEW ART RESIDENCIES by submitting two artworks in the same section
NEW – “Loft Miramarmi”: Art residency in Vicenza, in the marble district for 1 month for 2 artists + realization of a project + open day
The residency includes: accommodation, study, workshop, realization of a project using marble, € 500 grant, open day
NEW – “Beijing art residency”: Art Residency in Beijing for 1 month for 1 artist + final exhibition
The residency includes: accommodation, study, assistance, € 200 grant, final exhibition.
At the end of the application period, you will be asked to send a project that will be evaluated in order to choose the winner
The residency is organized in collaboration with Lab-Yit

Collective exhibition finalist artists: March 2013 – Venice Arsenale
The 7th International Arte Laguna Prize, based in Venice, Italy and dedicated to contemporary visual art, is open to artists with no limits of age or nationality, offering a finalists collective exhibition at Venice Arsenale, artist-in-residence programs, personal and collective exhibitions, participation in international festivals, publication in the official catalogue and a network of opportunities.

Participation: the contest is open to all artists, without any limit of age, the subject is free

COLLECTIVE EXHIBITIONS
The jury will select 110 finalists who will show their artworks at the Arsenale of Venice in March 2013. Another collective exhibition, dedicated to under 25 artists, will take place at the Institute of Romanian Culture of Venice.
The winning artworks will remain property of the artists and will be collected in a bilingual catalogue.
AWARDS
Arte Laguna Prize has established a strong network of local and international collaborations with Foundations, Museums, Festivals, more than fifty art galleries and many companies which have decided to participate actively in the creation of specific projects. The network keeps on growing and building new opportunities for the artists.
5 Cash Prizes of € 7,000 for a total of € 35,000
for winning artists, one for each section
Business for Art
Arte Laguna Prize creates connection and contamination between the world of art and the one of business. For this edition "FOPE gioielli" develops an artistic project with the winning artist of the virtual art section.
International Festivals
Open, International exhibition of sculpture and installation in Venice will choose one artist who will participate in its international event in 2013.
