Pure Arts Group is an arts marketing and PR Company who present an ongoing calendar of exhibitions and events throughout the year. They also operate The 1066 Art Academy, which offers annually selected artists ongoing mentored development, networking and exhibition opportunities. Annually they select up to 60 artists to work with and support for a 12 month period. 

Submissions are invited from artists aged 18 years or older on 3rd June 2013 working in any media and living anywhere in the world. The 2013/2014 selection panel will be chaired by James Horton PRBA, President of the Royal Society of British Artists and will include artist Matt Small and Gallery Owner Karina Phillips of Gallery Different 

Annual Prize Fund of £2,500

Balaclava is a new exclusive online gallery dedicated to the exhibiting of contemporary artwork that only exists (or was recorded/lives on) in digital format. This can take the form of many different guises: video, photography, animation, audio, digital drawings or paintings etc. It also could include photographs of work, which was made but has now been dismantled (never to be re-made); destroyed, lost or damaged, and digital evidence of any other temporary interventions of any kind.  

Over the next year we will programme and present a series of solo shows. This call out will be for the first 3 months. The selected artists (either individuals or collaborations) will get exclusive space in our online gallery for an exhibition of usually around two weeks, a press release, online promotion via social networks and at the end of the exhibition the details will be added to our archive.  

Just to reiterate - we are looking for work, which only exists, in digital format. 

To apply please send us up to 5 jpeg images of the work, your CV, and a short statement about your practice (approx 250 words). In this statement please include details of the use of technology in your practice. If you are applying with time based work please send us the links where these can be looked at online.

COLLECTIVE EXHIBITIONS

The jury will select 110 finalists who will show their artworks at the Arsenale of Venice in March 2013.  Another collective exhibition, dedicated to under 25 artists, will take place at the Institute of Romanian Culture of Venice.
The winning artworks will remain property of the artists and will be collected in a bilingual catalogue.

Arte Laguna Prize has established a strong network of local and international collaborations with Foundations, Museums, Festivals, more than fifty art galleries and many companies which have decided to participate actively in the creation of specific projects. Burne Contemporary's 2012 exhibition season, we've decided, once again, to do something a bit unconventional. We are hosting an international open call to artists. 
Just to be clear, we are not doing an open call for a juried group exhibition; we're looking to sign new artists to our gallery for inclusion in exhibitions, projects, and events for the 2012-2014 seasons.

DEADLINE: 
August 15, 2012. 

ELIGIBILITY: 
Open to all artists, age 18+, who wish to be considered for a two year representation contract with the gallery. All submitted artwork must be available and for sale. 

ENTRY PROCEDURE: 
Entries will only be accepted online:  https://www.callforentry.org/festivals_unique_info.php?ID=1033&sortby=fair_name&apply=yes Artists should submit 8 images of their most recent artwork, an artist statement (150 word maximum), a CV, and if possible a URL to their website.
Baang + Burne will only be accepting entries submitted through this system. E-mail or paper submissions will not be accepted.

Every submission will be personally considered and reviewed by Baang + Burne Gallery Directors Kesha Bruce and Charlie Grosso and Associate Director Erin Skaryak.  

ABOUT BAANG + BURNE: 
Baang + Burne Contemporary is an unconventional art gallery directed by contemporary artists Kesha Bruce and Charlie Grosso. Our gallery aims to challenge the premise of what an art gallery can be. We're interested in engaging the world at large and presenting work that generates dialogue critically, socially, and culturally.  
In the first 16 months of Baang + Burne Contemporary's existence, we experimented with apartment shows, private "invitation only" events, and 6x6, an art version of a music festival.  For 6x6 we presented six exhibitions in six weeks, bringing together unexpected alliances and partnerships from various creative fields outside the art world and from non-profit arts organizations.  
We are committed to asking challenging questions and using the gallery to continually experiment so that we may find the new solutions for both artists and collectors.
