Platform Residencies 2013-14 - Site Gallery, Sheffield, UK

Site Gallery is Sheffield’s leading international contemporary art space. It is a place for artistic development, where new work is made and exhibited, and where artistic talent is nurtured.

Site Gallery is now accepting applications from visual artists for its acclaimed Platform residency programme. Artists are invited to propose an idea for which they need time, space and investment to develop to proof of concept stage.

Each residency, worth £6,000 includes:
• a production budget
• a fee
• the use of the galleries for a period of 2-4 weeks
• accommodation
• a writer to produce a critical text on the artist’s practice
• the support of a mentor

This programme is funded by The Esmee Fairbairn Foundation.

Please submit your online application by 5pm on Friday 19 July 2013. Applications are subject to a £10.00 administration fee.
