Call for applications

Matt Roberts Arts is currently seeking applications for the fifth annual salon art prize http://www.salonartprize.com/ exhibition which will take place from 6th - 30th October, 2011.
The salon art prize welcomes applications from practitioners working with painting, sculpture and installation, and 2-D practices (collage, drawing, printmaking etc.). We expect to exhibit up to 100 artists within our 1000sq ft gallery on Vyner Street, in East London. To mark the fifth anniversary of the prize we will be offering three separate prizes of £1000 (one for each category), supported by John Jones.
SELECTORS
2-Dimensional Practices - Patricia Bickers (Editor, Art Monthly)
Painting - Pippa Hale (Director, Project Space Leeds and The Northern Art Prize)
Sculpture and Installation - Robert Leckie (Exhibitions Curator, Gasworks)
The competition is open to university graduates, current students, and untrained professionals. International applications are welcomed and there is no limit on the age of work submitted.

All Salon Art Prize applicants must be registered as an Associate Members of Matt Roberts Arts. Annual membership £10 (GBP), as we are not-for-profit all membership contributions support our ongoing professional development services.
