Core Gallery Open Submission 2011, London

Call for Artists plus Show and Tell: A DIY Educate programme for Artists
Deadline: 10th July, 2011

Core Gallery Open Submission in partnership with the Deptford X 2011 International arts festival 23rd September – 2nd October 2011.

Artists working in all mediums are welcome to apply to be selected for an exhibition with Core Gallery which will run during the Deptford X 2011; an international contemporary Arts Festival in South East London, 23rd September-2nd October 2011.

The Guest Selectors are:

Graham Crowley, one of the most distinguished living painters in the UK.
Fiona Macdonald, Artist and Curator of Standpoint Gallery
Alli Sharma, Artist, Writer, Curator and co-director of Transition Gallery
Sarah Williams, coordinates and curates the Jerwood Visual Arts exhibition programme at Jerwood Space and works as an independent Curator, Artist and lecturer.

All selected artists will have their works exhibited by Core Gallery during the Deptford X.
Application Fees are £20 and £15.50 for DIY Members. Show and Tell is Core Gallery’s DIY Educate programme for 2011.

DIY Educate is an artist’s development programme created to nurture artistic practice through workshops, talks, critiques and tutorials, see http://coregallery.co.uk/diy-educate for more details.
