RTCA is looking for the best of contemporary art. We are committed to exhibiting contemporary art that displays excellence in concept and technique. Accepted submissions will be exhibited during May and June of 2011.
All applying artists will be considered for future solo exhibition opportunities. Juror:
Jon Lutz is an independent curator in NYC. He has been organizing exhibitions in studios, apartments, parks, empty real estate, and other venues since 2008. His current project is called Daily Operation. - http://www.dailyoperation.org
Entry Fee: $20
Important dates: Submissions must be postmarked by March 31, 2011 Accepted artists will be notified by April 15, 2011 Exhibition opens May12th and runs through June 18th. Artists must be available to drop off accepted work May 4th - May 8th.
Work must be picked up on or before June 26, 2011.
Submissions: All mediums will be considered including video and performance. All artwork must have been completed within the past three years. Artists are responsible for delivery and removal of artwork. Send 6-10 images no larger than 2 MB (largest dimension should be no greater than 800 pixels) on a CD. Video art should be submitted on a DVD with a total duration not to exceed 45 minutes. *Include an image list and resume. If work has been previously exhibited in the Greater Philadelphia Area, please list venue, exhibition title and date.
