Transart Summer Certificate Program 2009 Berlin
Artists can now attend summer residencies at Transart Institute in a non-degree certificate program. Participants join MFA students in workshops, lectures and critiques, leaving the residency with input on future projects.
Artists attend the residency to get a creative surge, gain a fresh perspective on their work, revitalize their practice and take it to the next level. The residency will help artists to make plans for a focussed praxis in the year ahead and to become part of an international community of artists, theorists and curators. Artists who successfully complete the residency will receive a certificate of attendance. Tuition is EUR 2400 for the three week course.
The one dozen week long workshops and seminars are conducted in a cross-disciplinary layout and include choices like "Sensory Perception", "Time Frames: Time, Film, Technology", "The Waiting Game", "Identity: A Discourse of the Body, Personality, and Cloth" as well as additional short weekend workshops on technical skills and professional development, e.g.
"Guerilla Tactics: Basics of Academic Job Hunting". The full program can be seen at:

One full scholarship will be awarded to an artist for their submission to "Simply Screen: Inbetweeners of Asia", details at:
