Picture This produces visual arts projects harnessing its unique understanding of moving image technology and contemporary culture.
We are currently seeking a motivated intern to work with the small staff team on a three month placement on its exhibition programme. Based at Spike Island in Bristol, Picture This’ Atelier is a flexible space geared both towards experiments in production and a public programme.
The internship is appropriate for people who have volunteered at arts organisations and want to develop their professional practice in the arts further. Interns will be responsible for the day-to-day overseeing of exhibitions for the 6 weeks they are open to the public and in the period between exhibitions, will carry out admin duties and will have opportunities to work in specific areas such as marketing, technology, education and cataloguing.
