Summer is here in Andalucía and Joya: arte + ecología / AiR are open for applications.
Joya: AiR is a transdisciplinary arts residency and we are interested to hear from all artists/writers keen to research, experiment and develop their work.
In addition to private studio space and the use of our facilities Joya:AiR is set in the heart of the beautiful Natural Park of the Sierra María-Los Vélez. This is the sunniest place in Europe and a place of extreme natural beauty.
Typical Disciplines: Painting, Photography, Sculpture, Visual Arts, Writing, Collaboration, Conceptual, Theoretical, Curatorial, Design, Experimental, Moving Image (film/video), New Media Arts.
Eligibility: Residencies are intended for visual artists/arts professionals/writers with an exhibition/publication record, and/or who have had formal training in the arts.

Duration: minimum one week to one month.
Fee: Full board and lodging, private bedroom with attached bathroom and studio space when required €300 per week (£232,$336 at the time of publishing).
