Eastside International Artist in Residence Program

Eastside International (ESXLA) is an artist-run, alternative, contemporary art exhibition space and international artist residency based in Los Angeles, CA.
Facilitated by artist-directors Jason Ramos, Michelle Carla Handel, and Molly Shea, Eastside International’s residency program hosts up to four artists to live, work, and immerse themselves in the Los Angeles art community. ESXLA’s parallel exhibition program features the work of local, national, and international emerging and established artists in a non-commercial, alternative venue.
Eastside International is located at 602 Moulton Ave, on the grounds of the Brewery Art Colony, in the Lincoln Heights neighborhood of the east side of Los Angeles.
Currently, the self-structured residency lasts from 1, 2, or 3 months and includes a bedroom and adjoining studio for contemporary visual artists to make work, connect with other artists, spaces, galleries, curators, and others and explore Los Angeles.
ESXLA has residencies available starting as soon as September 2015, and throughout the fall and winter.
Applications for residencies that will begin the months of Sept, Oct and Nov 2015, will be taken until all slots are filled.
Applications for residencies that will begin the months of Dec 2015, Jan and Feb 2016 will be taken until Sept. 15th, 2015.
