Body Memories installation view 2007
Mixed media and light
The first four images are from an installation piece displayed at  Roadside Attractions' 911 Davenport Road, Toronto ON.

The 2007 installation accompanied by Melanie Tinken's text explored the body as metaphor. In this triptych of disquieting dreamscapes body memories surface to reveal physical reactions and emotional states.  Existing in a puzzling realm between reason and intuition, between what can be proven and the unknown the installation resonates with possibilities. These possibilities encourage the viewer to reflect on the enigmatic body as a metaphor for the narrative of life and death.
