Biography
 
I am a visual artist working primarily in photography. Born in Sheffield, UK, I received a BFA (Hons) from the University of Manitoba and an MFA from Johnson State College, Vermont. I have received several awards and grants including the Graduate Studio Arts Award from Johnson State College and a Residency Support Grant from the Vermont Studio Centre.

I have participated in various solo and group exhibitions in Canada and the USA.  I was an artist in residence at Can Serrat, Centro de Actividades Artisicas El Bruc, Spain. Recent group exhibits include “Illuminating Developments: Images, Objects and the Use of Light" at the Tower Fine Arts Gallery, SUNY Brockport, NY,  "Do Hands Make Us Human? at Hang Man gallery Toronto, and  Photo-Op at the John B. Aird Gallery. More recently I exhibited a site-specific installation titled “Trains and Boats and Planes” at ‘Roadside Attractions' 911 Davenport Road.
