Kuckei + Kuckei is happy to announce the second solo show by Barbara Probst in Berlin. Since our first presentation in September 2005 Barbara Probst had several exhibitions in the USA which attracted a lot of attention.
A great success was the recent solo show at the Museum of Contemporary Photography in Chicago (April until June 2007). On the occasion of this exhibition a substantial catalogue was published by the Steidl-Verlag.
Last year the Museum of Modern Art in New York showed her work as part of the exhibition �new photography �, together with works by Jonathan Monk and Jules Spinatsch. The MoMA acquired several works for the collection. Susequently Barbara Probst participated, amongst others, at the Museum of Photographic Arts San Diego, the McDonough Museum Youngstown State University Ohio and at the University of South Florida Contemporary Art Museum Tampa.
At our exhibition we will show four new multi-part works.
Kuckei + Kuckei freut sich, die zweite Einzelausstellung von Barbara Probst in Berlin anzuk�ndigen. Seit unserer ersten Pr�sentation im September 2005 hatte Barbara Probst zahlreiche Ausstellungen in den USA, die viel Beachtung fanden.
Ein gro�er Erfolg war j�ngst Ihre Einzelausstellung im Museum of Contemporary Photography in Chicago (April-Juni 2007). Anl�sslich dieser Ausstellung ist eine umfangreiche Publikation im Steidl-Verlag erschienen.
Im Museum of Modern Art in New York waren ihre Arbeiten Ende letzten Jahres in der Ausstellung �new photography �, gemeinsam mit Arbeiten von Jonathan Monk und Jules Spinatsch, zu sehen. Das MoMA erwarb mehrere Arbeiten f�r die Sammlung. Es folgten Ausstellungsbeteilungen u.a. im Museum of Photographic Arts San Diego, im McDonough Museum Youngstown State University Ohio sowie in dem University of South Florida Contemporary Art Museum Tampa.
In unserer Ausstellung werden wir vier neue mehrteilige Arbeiten zeigen.
