Artist Statement:
In meinen Bildern geht es um Licht, Struktur und eine Reflektion meiner pers�nlichen Umgebung. Ich f�hle mich von Dingen angezogen, die eine formale Malweise und Komposition zulassen. Ein klarer und ein kontrollierter Farbauftrag sowie dessen Farbigkeit und Platzierung, ist essenziell f�r meine Arbeit. In meinen Bildern bem�he ich mich um eine direkte, transparente und reflektierte Bildsprache.

My pictures are about light, structure and they reflect my personal surroundings. I am drawn to subjects that offer a formal approach to painting and composition making. The clarity and controlled specificity of the paint's value, color, and placement is critical. I try to make pictures that are straightforward, lucid and thoughtful.
