Education Hannelore Lott is an artist and performer of Romanian origin, currently living in Chicago. She exhibits around Europe and United States, and her artwork is today represented by Tiberius Gallerie in Issenburg, Germany. She holds and undergraduate degree in painting and a Masters Degree in Art History from DePaul University, Chicago. She also holds a PhD in visual arts from West University, Timisoara, Romania. Her academic focus (and writings) is on the art of Constantin Brancusi, modern art and architecture (Dada, Duchamp, Bauhaus)), and the history of studio practices and representations of the artist's studio from Renaissance to modernity. Her commissioned paintings are placed in Germany, France, Italy, Turkey, Canada and United States. Hanelore is currently teaching and performing and Chicago. She also works as a translator (speaking English, Romanian, French, German, Italian and Spanish) and travels extensively around the world. Her designs (handmade clothing, jewelry, pottery and organic body products) can be found in several stores in Chicago. She also works as an illustrator. |
