Hannelore Lott is an artist and performer of Romanian origin, currently living in Chicago. She exhibits around Europe and United States, and her artwork is today represented by Tiberius Gallerie in Issenburg, Germany. She holds and undergraduate degree in painting from West University, Timisoara Romania and a Masters Degree in Art History from DePaul University, Chicago. Her academic focus (and writings) is on the art of Constantin Brancusi, modern art and architecture (Dada, Duchamp, Bauhaus)), and photography/performance during communism in Eastern Europe.

Her commissioned paintings are placed in Germany, France, Italy, Turkey, Canada and United States (Chicago, New York, Oregon). Back in Romania, in 1998 she founded group How, organizing several performances, workshops and group exhibitions. Hanelore is currently teaching and performing and Chicago. She also works as a translator (speaking English, Romanian, French, German, Italian and Spanish) and travels extensively around the world. Her designs (handmade clothing, jewelry, pottery and organic body products) can be found in several stores in Chicago.
