Born in 1972. Studied Fine Art at the University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne (1991-1995). Exhibitions include 'The Painting Room' 2008 (Transition, London), 'FringeMk Painting Prize 2009', (Milton Keynes) and 'Mostyn Open 2011' (Oriel Mostyn Gallery , Llandudno)
I make paintings of cardboard models and junk constructions. My work is often inspired by the commonplace and familiar, but through the process of making takes on its own skewed logic. The models are made with paintings in mind. They are personal interpretations of everyday things, relating to both art and life. I make forms that I want to paint.
