Created in direct response to the architecture and interior
of the private house,
which was converted from a derelict synagogue in the East Village of Manhattan.

Continuum in Balance

Continuum in Balance explores the notions of harmony within independence and symmetry. A mirrored diptych commissioned
for the reception, responding to symmetry of building.

Inviting communication between both, allowing investigation of the differences and embracing harmony. Continuous negative lines formed by inter-connecting arcs create the linear structure
of each painting.

Balancing the complexity of the linear structures
with a simplicity of the tonal layering.
