Biography

The scheme ‘Bürolandschaft’
My work focuses on varied themes which develop out of an extended period of research that involves getting jobs in the particular field and exploring specialized information. I use the ‘materials’ and experiences that I encounter through this immersive process to produce a group of ‘souvenirs’ or components of a series. Current themes include the office world, gardening and food.

Additional information on 'Melting Posts': This project works with the paradoxical cycle of transformation that some of the metal debris of the World Trade Centre was submitted to, to produce pots, pans and serving trays. It invites the spectator to experience a fiction based on these facts through found images, posters, maps, memorabilia, a video and food cooked and served with kitchenware possibly made from this debris.
