My work engages the contemporary cultural landscape. I am currently working on 'Night Stand Apocalypse', an ongoing series of works of paper that merge drawing, painting, and collage techniques. This series culls images from art history, pop culture, and current events and reassembles them in surreal dreamscapes. These dreamscapes are often fragmented, abstracted and enigmatic, opening a critical window on today's political and environmental condition.
