ABOUT
Founded in February 2004, WHITE SPACE BEIJING is an independent Chinese gallery, directed by Tian Yuan, focusing on Chinese contemporary fine arts and collaborating with ALEXANDER OCHS GALLERIES BERLIN.
WHITE SPACE BEIJING & ALEXANDER OCHS GALLERIES BERLIN organized solo exhibitions with a lot of artists, including Chi Peng, Cui Guotai, Fang Lijun, Li Luming, Liu Wentao, Miao Xiaochun, Wang Yin, Xu Shun, Yang Maoyuan, Yang Shaobin, Yin Xiuzhen and others. For group shows, projects in Museums and biennials, the galleries also cooperated with other artists, including Hai Bo, Luo Qing, Lu Shengzhong, Mu Chen & Shao Yinong, Rong Rong & Inri, Song Dong, Wang Guangyi, Wang Mai, Yue Minjun, Zhang Xiaogang, Zhu Jinshi and others. Besides, WHITE SPACE BEIJING also invited European artists to take dialogue exhibitions with Chinese artists in Beijing, such as Joerg Immendorff, Franz Gertsch, A.R. Penck, Tapies and Hermann Nitsch.
