Mireille Mosler Ltd. opened a gallery in a town house on the upper-east side in September 2006. The gallery alternates exhibitions between solo exhibitions of contemporary artists, and thematic groups shows juxtaposing old masters and contemporary art. Solo exhibitions of the following artists already took place or are scheduled for the upcoming season: Alicia Framis, Philip Akkerman, Don Doe, Karen Yasinsky, Molly Springfield, Albrecht Fuchs, Jenny Perlin, Ed van der Elsken, Simon Linke, Wayne White and Marcel van Eeden. For the thematic group shows, contemporary art is contextualized in conjunction with works by old masters. Whereas solo exhibitions are focused on the artist, group shows offer a broader historical perspective for the art exhibited.
