Galerie Reinhard Hauff in Stuttgart is among the most important galleries for international contemporary art in Southern Germany. Established as a project room on the premises of the former Galerie Achim Kubinski in 1995, Galerie Reinhard Hauff first concentrated on a challenging mix of established artists and young artists. The gallery relocated to the centre of Stuttgart in 2001, and has since operated a full-time exhibition program focussing - alongside ambitious installations by artists such as Stephen Willats, Thomas Locher or Daniele Buetti - on experimental work by emerging artists (for example Wolfgang Flad, Lasse Schmidt Hansen, Mark Pearson and Pia Maria Martin).
In that process the gallery has been instrumental in achieving international recognition for artists like Josephine Meckseper and Annelise Coste, who first showed with Galerie Reinhard Hauff. In addition to solo shows, the gallery regularly features curated group shows.
The gallery participates to international art fairs such as ARCO Madrid, Art Brussels, art athina, Art Hong Kong, Art Forum Berlin and Artissima Turin.
