Laurence Miller Gallery
February 2012 marked the gallery’s 28th Anniversary, making it one of the oldest continually operating galleries in New York City specializing exclusively in the art of photography. Since opening in 1984, the Laurence Miller Gallery has concentrated on the exhibition and sale of museum quality contemporary and vintage fine art photography. We specialize in American photography since 1940, Asian photography since 1950, and international contemporary art.
Laurence Miller has over thirty-five years experience in the fine art photography market, not only as a gallerist and curator, but also as an active collector. In his earliest years as an associate of Light Gallery and later as owner/director of the Laurence Miller Gallery, he has represented many of photography's modern masters. Since its beginning the gallery has mounted countless photographic exhibitions significant to the world of fine art photography and continually works with museum, corporate, and private collections worldwide. As a member of the Art Dealers Association of America (ADAA) and the Association of International Photography Art Dealers (AIPAD), the gallery is committed to representing and exhibiting artworks of the highest quality while enhancing the visual experience for all of our gallery's visitors.
The gallery is located on West 57th Street, between 5th and 6th Avenues (map). We are around the corner from Tiffany's, four blocks north of the Museum of Modern Art,
and two blocks south of the Plaza Hotel.
Gallery Hours:
Wednesday - Saturday, 11:00am to 5:30pm, and by appointment.
