On 8 September 2011, Josephine Pryde took photographs at a promotional fashion event in London's West End. Now, one year later and coinciding with the 2012 incarnation of the same retail initiative, Simon Lee Gallery is proud to announce NIGHT OUT, our forthcoming solo exhibition with Pryde, which will include a selection of these photographs alongside a new sequence of works.
NIGHT OUT follows a pair of institutional solo shows that Josephine Pryde made this year at Kunstverein Düsseldorf and Kunsthalle Bern entitled Miss Austen Enjoys Photography and Miss Austen Still Enjoys Photography, respectively. Recent solo exhibitions also include Embryos and Estate Agents: L'Art de Vivre at Chisenhale Gallery, London (2011); Therapie Thank You at Reena Spaulings Fine Art, New York and Therapie Thank You Thank You at MD72 in Berlin (both 2010).
