NEW PRINTS 2015/SUMMER ON VIEW: June 11 - July 31, 2015 RECEPTION: Thursday, June 18, 6-8 pm Preview for Press, Artists & IPCNY Members: 5-6PM featuring Artist Talks by Tobias Crone, Travis Jannsen and Carol Wax International Print Center New York presents New Prints 2015/Summer, on view at 508 West 26th St, 5th Floor, from June 11 - July 31, 2015. The exhibition consists of forty-six prints by thirty-nine artists, selected from over 2,000 submissions. On view during IPCNY’s 15th Anniversary year, New Prints 2015/Summer is the fifty-first presentation of IPCNY’s New Prints Program, a series of juried exhibitions organized by IPCNY three times each year featuring prints made within the past twelve months. An illustrated brochure with a curatorial essay by a member of the Selections Committee, Tom Freudenheim, art critic and retired museum director, accompanies the exhibition. ALSO ON VIEW: 15th Anniversary Exhibition organized by the New York Society of Etchers June 11 - July 31, 2015 The New York Society of Etchers was founded in 1998 as a platform for providing exhibition opportunities for intaglio artists in New York and across the country. Curated by Stephen A. Fredericks, this show brings together prints from a handful of current directors and additional artists who have supported the Society during its 15-year exhibiting history.
