Daniel Milewski The Umpire Opening Tuesday, January 8th, 2013 6 - 9 PM January 8th - February 16th, 2013 Gallery Diet is pleased to announce The Umpire, a solo exhibition by Daniel Milewski. This will be Daniel’s second solo exhibition at Gallery Diet, he has participated in numerous group exhibitions at the gallery including a three person exhibit with Marcos Valella and Bhakti Baxter, and a solo exhibition at Dimensions Variable. The Umpire includes photography, collage, and sculpture created in 2012. In this body of work, Daniel continues to explore themes of myth, masculinity, and social structure. About Gallery Diet Gallery Diet is an art gallery in Wynwood. The gallery regularly produces exhibitions by emerging and established artists from around the world, often bringing those artists into Miami for the first time. Recent exhibitions by invitational artists have included those featuring Charles, Francesca, George, and Betty Woodman, Clifford Owens, and a series of group exhibitions by Joshua Abelow’s Art Blog Art Blog. |
