Eastside International presents: Lonely Hunters Ranee Henderson Maja Ruznic Opening reception Saturday, May 23rd, 7-10 pm Curated by Jason Ramos A cast of characters inhabit the psychological, emotional, and painted worlds depicted by Henderson and Ruznic. Like all characters, the figures here are the moving parts of larger stories — from Henderson’s mythically personal portraits and scenes, to Ruznic’s epically intimate channeled worlds. Embracing notions of sentiment, memory, trauma and desire, the intuitive formal elements of the works summon and evoke figures, relationships and environments.
