IM ZEICHENRAUM I A project by Tex Rubinowitz. MAX MLLER: Jemande und Niemande Max Mller, born in the mid 60s in Wolfsburg, general-dilettante and universal-generalist, is above all headsinger of the brachial band Mutter from Berlin. A band which keeps certain secrets and storms out of its cave over and over. No prisoners are made - powerlessness, anger, ashes, and crying widows remain. Max Mller draws the way he sings: abruptly and raw. Despite being mangy, in his drawings a certain spirit of love and justice arises. At the bottom of his heart Mller is humanist and a true gardener of hope. And it is not him who doesn't get along with society, society doesn't get along with him. Ruthless, nonsensitive, a society which bears crying widows. (quot. Tex Rubinowitz, February 2010) |
