Matthew Darbyshire is a founding member of Canal, a London-based discussion
group set up with Anna Colin, Gareth Jones, Sarah McCrory and Olivia Plender.
Non exhibition-led, the programme focuses on discussions, screenings and

Canal collaborated on The Street, a one-year project curated by the
Whitechapel Gallery, London (March 2008 � March 2009).
