The exhibition addresses contested spaces, focusing on the environment, political and economic conflicts and the human body. Curated by Kathy Rae Huffman, it will display an exciting range of innovative and challenging work at the interface of art, science, communication and technology. The symposium aims to unite the two disciplines of art and science and the exhibition, across three venues; Ormeau Baths, Golden Thread and Foyer Gallery, questions our perception of what is art and what is technology. Is an online, virtual reality game art? If a second life experience is created by an artist is the result art or science? Come along and decide for yourself. All of the exhibitions are free, inter-active and many of the pieces can be enjoyed by all age groups.
