ADAPT NI’s ARTitude Festival uses the arts to promote positive attitudes and increase disability awareness My Future, Our Future The 2012 theme encourages young people to explore aspirations and expectations for a collective future. The focus is on celebrating similarity and difference. Participants develop artistic experience whilst using their work to promote awareness and mutual respect amongst all young people. ‘Now You See Us’ We are delighted to include art, poetry and films from: Artability After School’s Club, Belfast Hospital School, Castle Tower School, Fleming Fulton School, Hill Croft School, Labas Ciao (Belong), Moneymore Primary, Oakwood Integrated Primary School, Orritor School, Sacred Heart Boy’s Primary School, Sacred Heart Rock Primary, St Gerard’s Educational Resource Centre, St Patricks Primary School (The Loup), The Base Congratulations to everyone! ADAPT NI is the only local organisation solely committed to Building Equality and Inclusion. The remit of our work integrates a programme of project based activities that address physical and attitudinal accessibility, alongside participatory and capacity building initiatives.
