Hope is a thing with Feathers 1st – 31st December 2011 Hope is the thing with Feathers , curated by Sarah McAvera features the work of six artists whose ingenuity and innovation in the face of a challenging political and financial climate has led to a diversification of their practice. Whilst maintaining a central practice, Ursula Burke, Gemma Correll, Ciara Dunne, Lisa Malone, Miguel Martin and Zoë Murdoch have all explored ways of and experimenting with new media to make this facet of their practice as affordable as it is desirable. This exhibition will mark the festive season with a sparkle in the eye and heart, we hope to see here!
