Happiness 100 Tonson Gallery proudly presents � Happiness/��⢔ the latest solo exhibition by young Thai artist Pichaya Khunnawat who has received very well responses from Thai and international audiences from his previous solo show ( Raw/Rare) in 2007. Pichaya continues to reflect his perspective towards social environment through his paintings and drawings, acrylic on Paper. His latest works have become more concrete and compassionate. As he has changed his life style and attitude for all kind of things around him in the past few years, Pichaya wants to express �Happiness� in the way that is factual and frank. �Human interaction� is the symbol he uses in his latest works to present the feeling and happy awareness in the different ways. �If we keep asking �what the happiness is�, we can get a lot of answers. But If we ask again �what the real happiness is�, we might need to think about it for a while. Whatever the result of this question will be, it �s not more important than we take a moment to think with our mind, conscience and intellect�..� Artist About Artist: Pichaya Khunnawat graduated with a BFA from the Department of Visual Arts at Bangkok University in 2002 and a MFA in Painting from Silapakorn University in 2007. His first solo exhibition Wanna Have � Wanna Be was part of the Brand New Project 2003, and he has also participated in the group exhibitions Villager�s Voice: Public Art Project at Pong Police Station, Loei Province (2001), Degree Show at the Department of Correction�s Museum, Bangkok (2002), and School of Bangkok at Tadu Contemporary Art, Bangkok (2005). In 2007, he held a solo exhibition Raw/Rare at Bangkok�s 100 Tonson Gallery and participated in ShContemporary 07 in Shanghai,China , in which the artist conveyed in a raw and critical manner, Thai society�s growing extortive mindset regarding issues of money in the midst of capitalist rapacity.
