A Leg Up Society Chapter 3 : Dedicated to the Spirits I Love - Chatchai Puipia In the third chapter of A Leg-Up Society at 100 Tonson Gallery, the exhibition space will be transformed into classical dining and concert venue and it will mark a debut of the bigger-than-life �Dedicated to the Spirits I Love� (aka the Pope) bronze sculpture. The Pope have been emerging and re-emerging in Chatchai Puipia's works in the past, initially 10 years ago as paintings which study after Spanish great painter, Velazquez�s the �Portrait of Pope Innocent X� in 1650. Over the years, paintings and small sculptures of the Pope have been created but most of them have not yet been exhibited in public and will be first revealed together at this exhibition. �Dinner with the Pope� and �Music with the Pope� are organized, each as fund raising event where the proceed go to various activities by A Leg-Up Society, including the production of artists� books and magazine publications. Dinner with the Pope: 100 Tonson Gallery joins hands with Quintessentially who invites Chef Uwe, the executive chef from Mandarin Oriental in Hong Kong to prepare dinner for the special evening on Saturday, December 13th. Only 8 seats are open for previously applied guests. Music with the Pope: On the following Saturday, on December 20th, the exhibition venue will house Chamber Music, led by Thailand� top musical talent Archarn Tasana Nagavajara. Juxtaposing paintings and sculptures by Puipia, baroque classical music will be performed for one hour, followed by cocktail party. Seats reservations are required for this event. Apart from the event days, the exhibition �Dedicated to the Spirits I Love� is open to public without charge.
