Capturing Moment Utai Nopsiri 24 Apr 2014 - 15 Jun 2014 100 Tonson Gallery is excited to present ‘Capturing Moments’, a coming solo exhibition by Thai sculptor Utai Nopsiri. Throughout his life Utai Nopsiri has been fascinated by wood, a medium through which he chooses to convey his ideas and artistic creations. Each of his works is entirely handcrafted without use of electrical tools. Capturing Moments will comprise eight abstract teak sculptures reflecting his perspectives through a lens of eastern philosophy rooted in Buddhism and Taoism. Capturing Moments exhibition will be on view from 24 April 2014 – 15 June 2014. The opening reception will be on Thursday, 24 April 2014 at 7 pm. Onward.
