In the Frontspace:
Micro Stories � Buddy Bunting and Kiki MacInnis, primarily painters, use video in this exhibition to explore their drawing processes. Buddy starts with a video and ends up with a large drawing based on the video images while Kiki begins with drawing and ends with an animated video. In each case the artist is interested in assembling new fiction from the original material. Micro Stories presents both the original material and the new fiction side by side.
In the Backspace:
Protograms - Seattle artist David George presents Protograms, a series of one of a kind silver gelatin prints capturing �optical events� he composes in the dark room using an inventive array of materials and methods, resulting in abstract, illusory portraiture resembling alien zoological constellations.
