Bursting out from their panel surface, Vadim Katznelson’s work is colorfully dimensional. His sculptural paintings have been shown at Margaret Thatcher Projects, New York; Northwestern College, St. Paul; Roy Boyd Gallery, Chicago as well as Rosenberg and Kaufman, New York. Katznelson’s work has also been reviewed by the ArtNews, The New York Times, Abstract Art Online and others. Katznelson’s pieces are highly collected and have been placed in the holdings of the Milwaukee Art Museum and The ArtCollTrust as well as numerous private collections. Katznelson has received awards from the Robert MacNamara Foundation and the Pollock-Krasner Foundation. He has also received institutional grants from the Institute of Museum Services and the National Endowment for the Arts. Katznelson received his B.F.A. from The School of the Art Institute, where he specialized in drawing and painting.
