I'm a self-taught photographer living and working in Sheffield, UK. I originally made contemporary furniture, working mainly in European hardwoods, for both public and private use. After teaching myself photography, I decided to combine the two disciplines to develop and realise my conceptual ideas.
My work is primarily about photographing the artificial spaces that I design and make in my workshop/studio. Each image is a collaboration of imagination through sculptural perimeters, mixed with a temper of theatre to produce my surreal and personal narratives.
