City Actions, photographs, 2002 Sarah Girards photographs are generated by what she describes as the consumption of the urban space she inhabits. Making allusions to the walking around of visitors in museums, punctuated by contemplative stops in front of exhibited artworks, Sarah Girard walks around the cities where she stays and points out empty city places where advertising images and objects have replaced the city users. |
