Schatz's work has been exhibited in galleries and museums in the United States and Europe, with several solo shows in New York and Paris. His art is included in private collections in the U.S., Canada, and Europe, and is also represented in the collections of the Fogg Art Museum of Harvard University; the U.S. Department of State; Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas; the Art Institute of Boston; and Pfizer, Inc.
Schatz was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and as a young man studied at the Baum School of Art there. He attended the University of Scranton as an undergraduate, and earned a B.A. magna cum laude in history and philosophy. He continued with fine art studies at Massachusetts College of Art and the Art Institute of Boston. He currently lives and works in New York City, where he is represented by The Phatory, LLC. |
