In his photographs, Ralf Peters (b. 1960) deals mainly with everyday spaces that are not depicted realistically; instead, they are aestheticized in a very calculated way. His new works showindustrial plants, trees, houses or bridges immersed in nocturnal darkness. Headlights illuminate only parts ofthem and therefore control which aspects become visible. In this way, ordinarythings appear as colorful objects with sculptural qualities.
