The subject matter is territory and like a topography, its literally the land I live on and the passages of time of that very land.
Living in the country you definitely have a sense that you are the visitor.
The elements force you to be humble. Live each day as it comes.
I find that exhilarating and like to use this as a reference on fleeting moments that quickly become memory.
My work is based on experiences, memories, emotions and imagination, even dreams sometimes, set in the ‘landscape’ that my mind exist within.
Its important to mention that each work is intended to be timeless. And relate to human condition - experiences that exist now, in the past or even in the future.

**Its important to note that I have no idea if there is any truth behind this story**
I found out recently that one of Nik Turner’s (ex-hawkwind member) daughters is called Silver wheels, in homage to Hawkwinds only hit single “Silver Machine”
Wow, now theres a name…
She apparently is completely deaf as a result of being playful swung around by her father when she was little, who unfortunately dropped her by accident. I grew up with the almost mythical Nik Turner, revered by the local hippies, he did have excellent parties and always put on a good show.
I am curious how the legacy continues in his daughter Silver Wheels, especially as his family is very much musically orientated. Being deaf, she’d feel the vibrations of sounds.
