“meat poultry fish” is a series of photographic textile designs that continue my interest in consumer aesthetics and homogenized culture.

My friend told me that when she looks at my work, class as construct slaps her across the face.

Jeanne Friscia is an artist who lives and works in San Francisco. She has received several grants and awards and exhibits her work nationally. Her work is in the collections of the Berkeley Art Museum and The Contemporary Museum of Art, Honolulu. She serves on the Board of Directors of SF Camerawork. Her work is represented by George Billis Gallery, Los Angeles.
