Listening to the Body Fluid, 2012
I knotted a lotus leaf made of my hair and installed it in the space. I showed a body as ice, changing to water, and then to evaporation. I moved like a tide; full and empty water through the body three times with a shakuhachi player. At the end of the performance, I visualized my own way of transforming. The lotus leaf made of human hair was the incarnation of the disappearing body.

Clearing the Mind, 2012
'Clearing The Mind' is based on the Zen concept of living in the moment. I employed a number of balls made of human hair that represent attached memories and thoughts. Throughout the meditative performance, which was accompanied by a Shakuhachi (Japanese bamboo flute) played by Zachary Skinner, l performed an intimately quiet and slow process of cutting the connection and emptying the thoughts, inviting the audience to capture the past and cleanse their accumulated memories.

Umbicality: (A close or intimate connection), 2012
'Umbicality' is a live performance where two performers are connected by a funnel shaped organic web made of human hair. The web represents an invisible symbiotic spiritual connection. During the performance, the performers bodies will describe the essence of oneness; our connection to the infinite and every other living thing. The intimately quiet and slow movements invite viewers to feel their body through the image of performers bodies.
