I am presently taking to examine and explore how brands and consumerism affect youth culture. I am constructing different types of graffiti art within my own practice. I produce large paintings on MDF with household paint of different forms and processes of neo-graffiti art, by looking and continuing to articulate the subject matter of street urban culture. My other new my visual response to this enquiry will begin with a series of water colour paintings. My visual response behind this is psycho-geographical. I will be making links between local and inner realities, and finding rhizomatic connections between youth culture and neo-graffiti. In my current studio practice I collect images of urban youths appropriated from geographical and cultural images of street scenes and domestic settings. I map the trajectories of images, logos, typographies and styles, practically and conceptually.
