The City at Night series, presented within, is a group of gelatin silver photographs portraying cityscapes. Occasionally, these nocturnes are doubled exposed onto other imagery, such as shop windows, crystal or silver vessels and people walking in harsh morning light. Resultant images are both, an exploration of the urban experience and cultural portraits. These exposures combine degrees of theatricality, sexual charge and dream like reality, creating environmental interpretation. My photographs are delineations of subliminal urban impressions.
