Biological patterns are a central aspect of my work. Through painting, sculpture, and photography, my work links organic patterns with human emotions and the cellular memory of the psyche. Expanding from the microcosm to the macrocosm my constructions integrate the personal with collective memory.

Most recent installations reconstruct intimate memories by transforming the original image (family snapshots or geographical documentation) through a ritualistic process of cutting, taping and/or sewing. The transformed images explore the nature of patterns articulating aspects of the collective with the more intimate and psychological.
