Bibliography
RECONTEXTUALISATION his practice-based research explores intensely relevant and deeply urgent issues, such as the impact of conflict in a public and private context, the dynamics that govern the formation of individual and collective memory, the way both history and intellectual meanings are written, displayed and negotiated, the veracity of historical and present events, the intimate nature of artistic experiences compared to the pervasive influence of politics and economics, and the role of art today, with particular reference to the global context. He investigates the parameters of proposal versus object, the mechanics of language and the ambiguity of meaning and perceiving challenges the boundaries between fine art, architecture, design and curatorial practice. his research is centred around observations of, and engagement with everyday life. his multifaceted projects include public actions, installations, videos, sculptures, paintings and drawings; as a sort of discursive argument. he presents his distinct, poetic and imaginative sensibility towards anthropological and political concerns searching for vital techniques for mediating the publics reactions to art and its contexts. Many of his works involve intense observation and recording of the social, cultural and economic conditions of particular places, usually conceived through engagement with urban areas.

A researcher is not defined by the accidental nature of his passports nationality nor by the tradition of a discipline. A researcher is created by means of the (re)invention of a series of practices that project metaphorically, but also possibly literally a territory derived from the investigation of certain possibilities of life. Seen from this perspective, the evaluation of a body of work is not a catalogue of products or biographical events, nor is it the search to homogenize under the term style a diversity of complex and sometimes contradictory locations and moments. The possibilities offered by a certain reading of a culture is what is of most interest, in other words, the way in which some works, ideas and gestures transform our perception of an environment and our ability to act. By means of poetic operation they revise what we understand as the situation. he uses poetic and allegorical methods to address political and social realities, such as areas of conflict, borders, institutionalising of thought and behaviour, complacency, cultural conformity, corporate and media control and the benefits and detriments of progress. The medium usually defines itself along the progress of the concept. his personal, ambulatory explorations of cities and cultures form the basis for his practice, through which he compiles extensive and varied documentation that reflects his ideas and process. From the beginning of his career he adopted a way of working that tends to reject conclusions in favour of exploring and challenging the boundaries of cultural practices. he has, that is, put the idea of rehearsal at the core of his practice. The tackled questions in his research are based on observations of how society and politics have changed over the last 20 years. For example, how does globalisation or the creation of online communities affect art practice? How can we create space for interpretation and reflection in a continuously demanding environment?
